The small print, in plain words
Privacy policy
I only ask for what I need to look after you and your animals, and I never sell it. Here's exactly what that means.
Last updated: October 2026
Who we are
This website is run by Oh So Good Equine and Livestock Services, LLC, a California limited liability company based in Lakeside, California, owned by Sydnie Lindemann. In this policy, "we", "us" and "I" mean Oh So Good Equine and Livestock Services, LLC. If you have any questions, email ohsogoodservices@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry. If you use the inquiry form, email me or message me, I receive what you choose to share. That is usually your name, email address, phone number, general location, and details about your animals, such as species, number, age, routine, and any health notes or veterinary details you decide to include.
When you book online. Online booking runs through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email address, the time you choose and your answers to any booking questions, and passes them to me. Calendly handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Release and vet forms. Before every session, the owner (or a parent or guardian for a junior exhibitor) signs a release form. These forms include your name, contact details, details about your animal and your signature. If your animal needs a vet's OK first, the Veterinarian Referral Form also includes your vet's details and their comments.
Payments. If you pay online, payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. I don't see or store your full card number.
When you visit the site. Like most websites, our web host automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited, to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your questions and plan your visit or group day.
- To schedule, confirm and remind you about sessions.
- To prepare for each session and keep simple notes about your animal.
- To keep signed release and vet forms on record.
- To take payment and keep business and tax records.
- To let you know about offers or changes, only if you've asked to hear from me. You can say stop at any time.
- To keep the website safe and working properly, and to meet legal obligations.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the services that help run the business, such as Calendly for booking, our email provider, our website host and our payment processor, and only so they can do that job. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or animals.
Cookies and third-party services
This site keeps cookies to a minimum. It does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Some pages include services run by other companies:
- Calendly. The booking calendar on the Book page is loaded from Calendly, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
- Instagram and Facebook. The Instagram posts shown on this site are saved copies. Clicking a post or a social link takes you to Instagram or Facebook, where their own privacy policies apply.
- Downloadable forms. Release and vet forms are PDF files stored on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although the booking calendar may not load.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking details for as long as we're working together and for a reasonable time after, so we have a record of your animal's sessions. Signed release forms and payment records are kept for as long as needed for legal, insurance and tax reasons. After that, we delete them or store them securely.
Keeping it safe
We use reasonable steps to protect your information, such as password-protected accounts and trusted service providers. No website or email service is perfectly secure, so please don't send card numbers or other sensitive financial details by email or message.
Children
Many of the animals I see belong to junior exhibitors. Bookings and release forms for anyone under 18 should be made by a parent or guardian. This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you, where it came from and how we use it.
- Get a copy of that information.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information, unless we need to keep it, for example signed release forms or tax records.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information. We don't sell or share it, but you're welcome to ask.
We won't discriminate against you for using any of these rights. To make a request, email ohsogoodservices@gmail.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on it, and we'll reply within 45 days. You can also ask someone you've authorized to make a request for you.
We honor these requests whether or not the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to a business of our size.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we'll make that clear on this page.
